Celebration to open the new Cricket Facilities

CELEBRATION TO OPEN THE NEW CRICKET FACILITIES AT FLANDERS FIELD, NAPIER ROAD MAY 7 AT 12PM

On behalf of Newham Cricket Club (NCC), Bonny Downs Community Association (BDCA) and The London Borough of Newham, I should like to invite you to our opening. We will have a full day of competition and trials and coaching in different disciplines for young players and enthusiasts.

The new 3 bay cricket coaching system and second artificial wicket will complement the existing grass cricket square and artificial wicket, the all weather floodlit multi use games and training area, and the new Bobby Moore Pavilion. Flanders Field also offers grass pitches and training and competition for 5 aside / mini /11 aside soccer.

NewhamCricket Club runsunder 11s, 13sand 15s teamsand has a full competitive season ahead on Sunday mornings with coaching in the evening during the week and on Saturday mornings. We will be actively recruiting for new young players on the day.

This new 3 bay cricket coaching system and the other facilities at the ground, including the clubroom, will be available to hire for Schools, Colleges, Universities, Cricket Clubs and the general public throughout the summer. The facility has been built in partnership with NCC, BDCA, Newham Council and a grant from the England and Wales Cricket Board in partnership with Sport England.
